Shri. O. R. Kelu assumed office as the Minister of Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes on June 23, 2024, in the second Pinarayi Cabinet. He represents the Mananthavady Legislative Assembly constituency in the Wayanad district. Born on August 2, 1970, to Shri. Raman and Smt. Ammu in Olancheri, Wayanad district, Shri. O. R. He has been serving as the MLA for the Mananthavady constituency since 2016. He has been a member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly Committee on Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare since 2021.
